Under 12 League Seaview Celtic 0 Villa 8
On a very blustery evening in Annestown tonight our U12A team completed the double by winning the league, adding to the U12A Cup already won earlier in the month. In very windy conditions we took the lead through Darren Finn just after 5 minutes Conor Coad added our second and Daniel Aherne made it 3 Nil just before half time. With the wind against us in the second half it did not hamper a feast of goals with Kenneth McEvoy adding the 4th, Gavin O Donovan scoring the 5th, Conor Coad adding his second to make it 6, Kenneth again for 7 and our young up and coming star Aaron O Connor made it a very convincing win and finished the season in style.
This team had already won the U13 Manchester Cup at Easter and have ended their 2006/2007 campaign with 3 pieces of Silverware which are fully deserved and testament to the hard work and training put in by the Managers Larry O Donovan, Eddie Widger and Ken McEvoy (Snr), and all the players :
