run two academies for younger schoolboys
and schoolgirls aged 5 to 10 on Saturday
mornings. One takes place at the Newtown
School Astroturf pitch between 9.30
and 10.45 am and is for 5-9 year old
boys and girls. The other academy
is on at the Villa FC Astroturf pitch
again between 9.30 and 10.45 am and
is for 9/10 year old boys and girls.
Qualified coaches conduct these sessions
teaching the kids the basic skills
of soccer in a fun environment. The
quality and enjoyment of the academy
is evident in the large number of
football loving kids that participate
